The Mushin brings together a Koto profile, a shorter tsuka, and an octagonal oval handle for practitioners with a specific grip preference. The faceted oval shape provides a tactile reference for hand placement, while the shorter tsuka accommodates closer hand spacing.

To complement the short handle, the body’s widest section is positioned closer to the grip, approximately 7cm above the upper edge of the leather tsuka cover.

Finished with a hand-stitched top-grain leather tsuka which is more comfortable to the touch than regular Tsuka, the Mushin combines comfort with a distinctive handle design that is extremely balanced.
