while in the area to buy my son his MEN, Ivan measured him up and we got 2cm bigger for room to grow. still was a nice fit the material is soft and look good as well

I was nervous to order my first set of bogu online. Lynn from bogushop made this hectic process much easier. She was so patient and answered all my emails with great detail. After receiving it, all parts fit perfectly.
Ordered 2 sets for my kids. They arrived to US within about a week. High quality clothes. Very good communication throughout. The shipping had tracking number. Kids are quite happy.
Very happy with this shinai. The tsuka is girthy and not whispy like most koban shinai. The heavier/solid feel of the tsuka is important to me for proper hasuji and ability to maintain proper kamae. Worth the money for sure. My only gripe is they need to make it in a koto style as well as dobari.

I ordered two sets in December for my sensei and myself. We measured our heads wrong and got notified that our dimensions seemed off. On double checking, the team at BoguShop was absolutely right and saved us the disappointment of getting gear that didn't fit.
With the corrected dimensions, everything fits perfectly. A very pleasant surprise was that the stitching on the men and tare match the customization options we chose for our do, resulting in two beautiful and perfectly fitting bogu that were easy to tell apart when opening the single box they shipped in.
Due to supply chain issues it took six months to receive the sets and it was absolutely worth the wait. The construction of every piece is so detailed and beautiful we decided to get bogu stands to display the sets before we figured out how to wear them.
The Keikogi and hakama is a solid choice. The material is durable and holds up well during practice. The fit is comfortable and allows for a full range of movement. Overall, I would definitely recommend this set to any beginner or intermediate kendo practitioner.
