I have been using this shinai at practice for a bit and I really like the balance of it. Its very comfortable to hold.
Prestige and comfort: nothing else to say! This kendogi is high quality, extremely soft and comfy and looks amazing as high quality double layer. "Smurfing" a little bit after 2 first handwash, but not as much as expected. Thanks to Ivan for advising on sizes, it's a perfect fit, don't want to remove it!
Permanent pleats are amazing to take care of!
I already had a lighter synthetic hakama but wanted something heavier, a bit more traditional, and this hakama is perfect! This is a high quality item, it looks amazing and the feel is great. Some "smurfing" after 2 handwashes but not too bad. Obviously needs some care to perfect the pleats but nothing impossible if you wash and fold as expected. Extremely happy with the purchase and Ivan's support in the decision process!

Ordered this shinai for indoor suburi at home and it's exactly what I needed. I no longer hit the ceilings when practicing and can do suburis no matter the weather outside! Because it's a suburito, it also works the strength a bit, so that's good.
Order placed on Friday evening, delivered in the US on Tuesday mid-day: amazing! High quality for low price and fast shipping, what else is there to ask! :)
This is a solid standard Koto style shinai and as such, it is fine. However, be warned that it does not have "a very small tip" as written in the description.
For the price I was willing to give it a try... unfortunately I found the tsuka is such a small diameter it almost makes the koban shape irrelevant. The other thing is for Nito there's no need for such a long tsukagawa.
I recently bought a set from bogushop, and customer service reached out to me about expected shipping dates. I knew I needed it for an upcoming event, so I shared the information with them and they helped me best they can to make sure it was delivered, which it did absolutely in time!
For buyers, the kote fingers were slightly long for me so be sure to double check that, and also for men measurements remember to factor in the men pad.
Bought this set after using a set of polyester keikogi and hakama. Wanted the traditional look of a aizome cotton uniform, but didn't want to be cooked in it either. This Power Dry Gi is very very close to being the the perfect solution for me. Admittedly, if you sweat enough in it you'll start to feel the heat, but the moments before you're as cool as a cucumber. The #8000 hakama is also a nice addition to the set, as the dense cotton gives the wearer a nice look. Not sure how to describe it, but you'll have to take my word for it. My only gripe is that the embroidery that I wanted was placed further right (near the seam) than on my hip (like most other embroideries I've had done on hakama. Not the end of the world, but I wasn't expecting it to be so far to the right. Overall, I think if you're starting your kendo journey and you want a good uniform set that will gain character with you as you train (thanks to the real aizome), I'd look no further. My keikogi is slowly fading into a very pleasant deep blue color, and I haven't gone back to my polyester set since.
The hakama looks great thanks to the indigo dye and stitched pleats. The stitching also makes the hakama much quicker to fold and put away after practice. Bogushop hakama are easily the best hakama you can buy for under $100 USD.
Exactly as advertised, this keikogi looks and feels great. Other keikogi I own tend to feel stiff and scratchy but the material on this one stays soft like a comfortable hoody. It does a better job of wicking sweat and letting my arms move than standard keikogi. To top it off, you can't beat the price point!
