Although it took a while to arrive ("hint" Ivan), I have to say that I am 100% pleased with this item. It is the EXACT match that is sold at another well known shop and it was $100 less out the door. It has broken in quickly and is softer than I expected. I am pleased.
Wonderful Man...it likes at any kendoka in my dojo !!
We are very proud of our Ryougi series as it is made for Kendoka with slightly bigger hand yet still want an extremely comfortable grip with good maneuverability.
When I received them at first, I was surprised at how big the grip was and how light they felt. Fortunately, I have pretty large hands and they ended up being perfect for me. Haven't seen any other large grip Koban style out anywhere else on the web. I've been using those for 2 years now and can't switch to anything else. Plus, they're just as durable as any higher priced Madake out there (sometimes more). They've become my personal classic!

The bag fits the bogu well, but the plastic portion on the bag is too weak. it broke after 2 months of usuage. It feels as if it made of cheap and weak plastic that has to take the entire weight of the bogu.
I have been using this bogu set now for a few months. I'm very happy with the quality and the fit. I am very pleased with the quality of the men.
Additionally, Bogushop was good to work it in ordering and shipping to east coast USA.
Fits great, drys super fast and you just can't beat the price for the quality.
Very good Kote, nearly no breaking in needed. Would and will buy again!
Only flaw is the delivery to Germany via EMS and GDSK. GDSK makes the delivery and customs service quite expensive.
I've been shopping around for a nice kendo uniform to add to the rotation of my Iaido gear and I have to say, I'm going to be wearing this uniform a lot more than the others. Very good heavy-weight material on the hakama and the deluxe keikogi fits better than any gi I've purchased. The shipping only took about 5 days to send to the central valley, california. The price was substantially lower than comparable uniforms on competing websites. Though as a rule, indigo dyed clothes MUST be washed several times prior to wearing...or you'll turn blue. I washed my 3 times on cold with an extra rinse.
Bought this and was shipped to me in about 5 weeks. I have an extra small head so they made a small size one for me. This looks awesome! Looks so dark ~
